With the late Abbot Isami's name cleared and the immediate scandal behind the Temple of Benten laid to rest, attention now turns toward the future. The temple cannot remain leaderless forever, and the process of selecting the new abbot has begun. Monks, patrons, and respected members of the community have gathered to assess those who may be worthy of guiding the temple through the uncertain days ahead.

Yet succession is never a simple matter. Questions of character, wisdom, doctrine, and duty must all be weighed carefully. Old loyalties emerge, differing visions of the temple's future begin to take shape, and scrutiny falls upon every candidate. You have been placed in a privileged position to help determine who is truly fit to inherit Isami's mantle.

The Temple of Benten hangs in the balance, and the choices made now may shape not only the temple itself but the lives of countless faithful in the City of the Rich Frog.

The session is slow-ish paced and will run over 3 days, during which the first 24 hours will be reserved for arrivals and soft RP. The second day from 10:00 PM to 01:00 PM & 10:00 PM to 01:00 PM will be for the intrigue. By the end of the intrigue, the final candidates will be nominated.
