No Laughing Matter

Some leagues outside of town, the ruins of one of the many villages that used to be in the region still remains. Completely ruined, it is still occasionally used by the adventurers in the region if they get stuck out during the night. However, one such party was not so lucky. Wiped out to the man, their fates were only discovered when people went out looking for them. Slaughtered in their camps, tracks were found heading north, to the hills to the west of the marshes. They found a cave, but were chased off by a pack of wandering demons with mouths for faces.
