Shu is the ninth of twelve siblings, born into a large family where each sibling followed their own path. While her siblings pursued different interests and responsibilities, Shu found comfort in farming and caring for rice fields.

Eventually, Shu travelled to Dawnport and became an adventurer. She wanted to experience the world beyond her family's fields, learn from other people, and gain knowledge that she could someday bring back home.

She doesn't seek fame or riches. To Shu, every adventure is another opportunity to grow and perhaps bring something useful home to her siblings.
