Spider nest about 4 hours travel from Dawnport

What actually happened?

Walked into the nest, Jerrod burnt the webbing and we were swarmed. Everyone was missing everything but we took the 10 spiderlings out then killed the spider king. It was grueling.

The Extermination of Spider King - Quest Completed

It was too fast... I missed almost everything. Today, Me, Jerrod, Villi, Obi, River, Phobus and Bonk is on a quest where we have to kill the Spider-King. Jerrod has been missing a lot, and he did call upon the spiders. What I remembered is that, I get to Bonk, and Kill the spider near him. Suddenly, another spider attacked me. I passed out...

The last thing I know is that, Jerrod kill the spider king...

Feel so worse today. But in the end, manage to get an agate and 3 rations of spider meat.

And yes, spider meat does taste like crab meat.

**What actually happened?**

We were tasked to kill the spider king, the guild found the location of it nest and we were given the opportunity to do it. And this is ny first quest together with familiar Pipi the Raven! Unfortunately, Kejora was not here to help us anymore...

The nest was inside a cave, i learned my lesson not to burn anything, I warn everyone to be careful around the webs not to burn them recklessy, but Jarrad did it And we wera swarmed by spiders.

And For some reason everyone keep missing their attacks, Especially Jarrod! fortunately for them this fire lady have come to help them but with the sacrifices of Pipi the Raven... Phobus did kill some spiders and so do i. Arthur passed out from the Spider attack and managed to wake up from near death situation, good for him.

After most of the spider was killed... The spider king emerged from the deep of it nest. Surprisingly Jarrod got the kill, without giving the spider kings any turn to move, i guess All of his missed attack was him charging up his trump card.

In the end, everyone else looted what inside the spider nest, I got a quatz from it, Yeaay free stuff! We concluded the quest with Victory on our hands

• Jerrod — His attacks seemed cursed by poor fortune... until one decisive strike changed everything.
• Phobos — A quiet but capable ally who helped keep the swarm at bay.

What Happened

The Guild tasked us with eliminating the Spider King hidden deep within a cave several hours from Dawnport. We intended to proceed with caution, especially after Obiana warned us not to set the webs ablaze. Unfortunately, one careless flame turned the entire nest against us. Instead of confronting a single target, we found ourselves surrounded by an endless tide of spiderlings. What should have been a straightforward hunt quickly became a desperate fight for breathing room, made even more frustrating as many of our attacks failed to find their mark. Arthur was brought to the brink of death before recovering, while the rest of us slowly fought our way through the relentless swarm.

Only after the countless smaller spiders had fallen did the Spider King finally reveal itself—and to my surprise, it proved far less troublesome than its offspring. Jerrod, after enduring what felt like an eternity of missed strikes, landed the decisive blow before the creature had any real chance to retaliate. It was an oddly swift end to such a gruelling battle. With the nest secured, we claimed what little remained within. I left carrying a piece of turquoise and several cuts of poisoned spider meat, wondering if the smallest enemies had truly been the greatest threat all along.

Personal Note

I had hoped this hunt would end with a single decisive battle, but instead it became a lesson in patience. A king may command fear, yet it is often the countless lesser dangers surrounding it that slowly wear one's resolve away. I still cannot bring myself to like spiders... and I doubt I ever will.
