Several travelers and villagers have reported seeing unicorns running wildly through the forest, damaging roads, destroying crops, and frightening anyone who gets too close.
Witnesses claim that the unicorns appear unusually aggressive and are traveling together in a large group.
The cause of this strange behavior is currently unknown.
Adventurers are requested to investigate the sightings, determine what is causing the unicorns to rampage, and put an end to the disturbance.
Warning: Do not approach the unicorns recklessly.

My first day as an adventurer, I am quite surprised that my captain allowed me to be one. Nonetheless, it was a very enraging first quest. The party consists of me, Yulrac, Zamrud, Y, Seelia, and a very late and nervous warrior Omii.
We were told by the guild that there were animals rampaging the forest, specifically, UNICORNS. I embarked on the journey to find said unicorns, but we came across a distressed merchant. Fat and ugly. His wagon was attacked by a pack of dire wolves, and so, in the name of justice, we helped.
There were total of 9 dire wolves, and 4 guards protecting the wagon. One of them were already deceased when we got there, in so failing to save a life. We engaged with the wolves, and while the battle was roaring, 2 guards were taken down by the wolves. It was a painful sight, maybe that's war is too. Nonetheless, we were victorious against the wolves. None suffered injuries nor death.
Then came along 2 unicorns. I was bewildered by the sight of the mythical creatures. They were looking for their kin. Turns out, their kin were trapped inside the wagon. The merchant was the cause of all this useless battle. Seelia unlocked the wagon, and Zamrud instilled what I assume the dragonborn effect. Poaching is never good, let alone mythical creatures, so rare and yet were exploited for profit. We released the kin back to the unicorns.
This is where my findings end.

Went into the forest looking for unicorns. Found a merchant getting mauled by nine dire wolves instead.
We helped. Four guards were there. One was already dead, and two more went down during the fight. Wolves were dealt with. Nobody from our group died, so I’ll count that as a win.
Then the unicorns appeared.
Turns out they weren’t attacking anyone. They were looking for their missing kin.
Guess where they were?
That's right, inside the merchant’s wagon.
Seemed pretty obvious after that. I unlocked the wagon and we let the unicorns go. The merchant was apparently keeping them for profit.
So, today’s lesson: if someone tells you they’re being attacked by wolves, check whether they’re actually the victim first.
Also, unicorns are real.
Not sure which part is more annoying.

(What happened)
The party (sans Omii) patrolled the area when a merchant appeared. He claims his caravan has been attacked by wolves. The party immediately went to help the merchant, where one of the guards were already dead. During the fight, the party keeps hearing animal noises. Y investigated the wagon during the fight, which seemed to be source of noise. He saw baby animals inside. Shortly after the investigation, two unicorns showed up. They telepathically told everyone else to return their foals. The party finished dispatching the wolves, while managing to intimidate the merchant caravan from acting further. The party broke the cages, returning the foal unicorns. Unable to locate the parents of the remaining animals, the party kept the wolf cubs and ponies. The party also brought the merchant and the guards to Dawnguard for poaching.
