Safeguard the Caravan - Quest Completed

Escorts: Kael the Merchant (Stingy one), Herschel and Jimbo (I forgot his name)

What happened:

1. So, Kael requested us to bring him to this one place, I don't remember it's name but holy shit it was beautiful place
2. This Kael also brings us 2 escorts, One is Herschel the magic man and the other one is Jimbo I think. I don't know I forgot his name but yeah He is Green.
3. So, it took us 7 suns to go there, and I can feel like my anus is hurting due to sitting too long. Luckily I don't drink more rum from the beautiful Lydia otherwise I'll be caravan sick again.
4. Kael decided to bring around 15 big ass boxes to go there. He is rich but stingy can you believe that? Hopefully he doesn't read this.
5. Anyway, Ellie, D, and Dorn are great. But Villi is just my day one so yeah she's doing awesome with me (We don't do well but we all good)
6. Somehow, Obiana cursed me and caused me to not be really good in my specialty. I swear to the Erdtree if it isn't for my diet, I would eat that dragon.
7. Anyways, on our Night 5, there's one guy decided to come to our camp and try to steal us. Luckily, D saw him and decide to let him rest with us.
8. Then I heard someone screaming saying like "HELP! HELP! HELP! THERE'S BAD GUY OUT!" Thank God whoever screamed that because Obiana molested me in my dreams. I got out from the tent and sees him.
9. As we about to asks him lots of questions, He got headshotted with poison arrow. Like Erdtree-Damn! Heart shot will suffice!
10. Anyway, we know that we gonna get ambushed so we are ready for it. Except I was craving for Mr. GanjaMan weed and got lost of track causing me to fall from the caravan ungracefully
11. We beat their ass, as I use all the skill have from the Lands Between.
12. We reached the City, Kael gave us another potion and we are now rich ass.

Those I Met

• Arthur — A familiar face and someone I have travelled with before. Unfortunately, this journey did little to convince me of his competence.
• D — Observant and dependable. His sharp eyes proved useful during the journey.
• Ellie — A capable travelling companion who handled herself well when trouble found us.
• Dorn — Reliable throughout the journey and particularly useful when things became dangerous.
• Kael — Our merchant employer. Wealthy enough to transport fifteen enormous crates, yet remarkably unwilling to part with his coin.
• Herschel — One of Kael's escorts and a magic user. There is something about him I do not entirely trust.
• Gumba — Kael's other escort. Green, and certainly memorable because of it.

What Happened

Kael hired us to safeguard his caravan and fifteen crates during a seven-day journey to Aethermarch. Most of the road was peaceful until our fifth night, when D noticed a stranger approaching the camp. We allowed the man to stay while we questioned him, but before we could learn much, a poisoned arrow suddenly struck and killed him. Whoever fired it remained hidden, leaving us with more questions than answers. Herschel's presence throughout all of this continued to leave me uneasy, though I had nothing concrete to accuse him of.

The attack did not come until the following day. Prepared for trouble after the previous night's murder, we faced the ambush and managed to protect the caravan despite the ensuing chaos—and despite Arthur being considerably less helpful than I would have hoped. Eventually, Kael, his escorts, and all fifteen precious crates reached Aethermarch safely. After seven long days, the beauty of the city was a welcome sight, and somehow, despite everything, our task was complete.

Personal Note

I cannot shake my suspicion of Herschel. Perhaps it is merely instinct, but I have survived long enough to know better than to dismiss such feelings entirely. As for Arthur... I am beginning to wonder whether surviving our adventures together is due to teamwork or simply remarkable luck.

What actually happened?

The party had accepted a job that was posted by a Merchant to help Escort them to a different settlement where his shop is located. Since he's transporting his goods, dangers may lurk.

On the travel, the party had to camp around 7 days/nights which where the party and D had found out that the carravan had been followed and an ambush was prepared.

After a friendly conversation with one of the bandit that D was able to capture, an arrow flew past the party and hit the captive turning them unable to provide the party with any further information. Due to this, D had went back to one of the 2 Merchant escorts by the name Herschel and interrogated them on what they had snuck in within the Merchant's boxes. It appears that the Bandits had followed and planned an ambush due to the item that Herschel brought.

The item soon then was kept by Elliana with her newly given Bag of Holding from D, and the party ended up fighting the ambush well prepared. The battle went and ended smoothly, everyone did their part very well. The only thing Elliana had done was to Bless the party members as preparation of combat, and casting Guiding Bolt to wipe the presumably Bandit Leader clean. Avoiding them using the Merchant and Escorts as hostages.

Once that is all done, the travel crew was able to proceed safely after some fixing by the party and arrived safely.
