A heavily enchanted vault door was found at the bottom of the sunken castle. Warded by ancient magics, there is only one way to open this door: a key left behind in the Emerald Order's compound. Getting the key should be a simple task. It never really is though not in this line of work...

Dr. Nabanik is eager to find out what is on the other side of the door and being here from last time we are in for an unwelcome surprise. So we needed to go to grab the key in some cultist lair. The first part to help Dr.Nabanik found this key, killed most of the cult....then left the key for some reason. So now we were back to grab it. In the base I found a map of Farryn. It was mostly empty. Only blood stains scarred the floor and walls. We explored for a while. We ran into a big dude who would have been scary if Echo didn't stun him and allowed us to kill him before he could do any damage.

We went back to the Sunken Castle we used the big key to open the big door. The big door led to...a big magic circle. I had Gar go in and she was gone. Then Echo went and the same thing happened. I lost both on my map which meant that they were on a different plane of existence. My maps can map anywhere no mater how far. Unless they were gone to a new reality...

We all went through the portal one by one. I was last and when I made it to the other side I was with Saphyre and Knick. The others were on my map a good ways away. Our group met up with Gideon and Echo but Magpie was further off. We needed to group up, all of us, and fast. This place was foreign and probably dangerous given what group we got the key from.

Before we made it to her we were attacked by a massive group of ghosts! I was able to pull her from the opposite side of the complex with a spell and once we were gathered together we made a stand a destroyed all of the enemies. Following some side stairs we found we actually ended up back in the castle and chatting with Dr.Nabanik!

The Emerald Order has the key to the vault.  Time to go back to their headquarters in the Golden Gorge.   

We unlocked a door we hadn’t entered before.  Amara found a set of healer’s tools and a surgeon’s kit, and those eye ball tack thingies.  Amara dropped a torch down a rancid hole and gases were released. 

Most things taken in a hurry.  The blood hadn’t been cleaned up.  Notes on charities, orphans, and outreach programs.  Some very nice shoes which happened to be boots of dancing. 

Knicks took the key and something emerged from the center of the courtyard.  An evasion and two stuns were all it took to take him down with no casualties. 

We went back to the sunken castle and backtracked to the underwater vault.  Inside we found a portal to another plane.  We were split into 4 groups.  We were able to gather back together and fight some spooky creatures. 

We found a chest with a set of gold goblets and a crystal decanter.  The urns and baskets around had nothing of value.  We found a second chest we found something shiny.  We had an arm wrestling match later to decide who would walk away with it. 

We ran into the good Dr. Out in the ruins.  He asked what we found.  Magpie offered to sell them waterbreathing to check it out themselves.  I explained the portal to another plane and the crystal staircases we didn’t climb.  Sapphyre believes the spires to be collections of souls.  He added 60 pp to our loot.
