In a manor in Springreach there lies an old man. A retired monster hunter who has fallen into a deep cursed sleep. His family doctor and house mage believe that the problem lay within his mind.
They wish to send the adventurers in to investigate where the old hunter has gone and see if they can bring him back to them. Doctor Pryce believes that his soul has been broken into pieces that need to be reclaimed in the echos of his mind. So they go to a memory of a dangerous and cursed land.
One hero has already fallen within this hunters mind. Will there be others? The job need to be done.

I was one of those souls. This would be the second time a party would be going to deal with this quest. So we went to the...frankly odd place and began to retrace the old path and carve out a new one. We ran into a massive man who we killed and we found some books one being about the "Healing Church of Yarnam". We continued to look around when we made it into a pretty bad area. There were at least of dozen creatures with guns and they clearly were not too keen on us being around. I created a music box to distract them and we took the initiative to start shooting them while they were distracted.

We were being bum rushed! Every single creature who was not in our party began to sprint in our direction. We would need to start killing and start killing fast! Zylrie was dropped on her ass in the middle of combat. My web spell didn't last long. Someone set it on fire as soon as it came up, though it did allow for a massive slowdown as the enemies approached. Tat fight went poorly we took a few down but in the end we retreated.

Doctor Price offered us 250 gold to return.   

Doctor Price told us, “We believe that he is lost somewhere inside the greatest accomplishments in his mind.  You might have to recreate them.  His mind is not a safe place or a gentle one.” 

The drow man cast the magic to put us into Lord Jaeger’s mind.  He gave us the reminder, “Watch for the lampposts to get out, or we will pull you out if someone dies.” 

We awoke in the same abandoned hospital room wearing the same strange clothes.   Our healing potions were replaced by bloodvials.  I drank some and was told that was weird since it’s obviously an injectable.  It tasted like a whiskey shot with a hint of copper. 

The moon was very big.  Gorgeous.  Massive.  Red tinged. Watching us... 

Tried to take necklace to test if we could take items from this place.  My hand passed right through it. 

I opened a locked door with Knick’s help.  A huge man cleaved through both of us and knocked me senseless.  When he was defeated, he faded away to black ashy mist.  We found a sawcleaver and books with titles about the Healing Chruch of Yahrnam and a hymn book. 

We returned to where Dartan fell and took our revenge on Wheely McRifle and friends.  I’d usually say it’s wrong to beat up cripples, but they had it coming.  We made a partial retreat to catch our breath, but then approached the second half of the battle much more tactically.  Ranged attacks.  Hit and run. 

We traveled deeper into the city and were attacked by a giant festering pig with putrid breath.  We defeated it and the lamppost appeared. 

We awoke in our bodies. 

Doctor Price gave us two old treasured item of his:  A Sawcleaver and a Logarius' Wheel.
