A Celestial Change of Plans
Dusk and Dorris set out for a quiet evening of studying near the river on Syndicate grounds, only to discover a wary pegasus drinking nearby. After earning enough of its trust for it to approach, the celestial creature led them upstream to an ancient waystone hidden high along the riverbank.
With the pegasus carrying them to the ledge, Dusk and Dorris worked together to restore the damaged mechanism. Dusk repaired the physical obstruction within the stonework while Dorris traced and restored its celestial magic, ultimately channeling Mage Armor into the waystone to reactivate a protective veil meant to conceal celestial creatures from hostile eyes.
In gratitude, the pegasus invited them onto its back once more, this time simply to fly. Beneath the moon and stars, it carried them high above the Delimbiyr and the Syndicate grounds, giving them an unforgettable view of the Vale before returning them safely home.
