The others will not swear an oath of silence, but I will not speak on the things that happened to me today. I am still blue and I keep having phantom pains where once there was a third eye. Being this short again - I think I am suffering vertigo.
Package Delivery

we went to see this drow guy in silverymoon at the unicorn's horn named venel! he wanted to deliver a package to his grandma elizabeth baentyl, a human lady, but there was this big festival about communion and the city goin on so he was too busy as a guard to go deal with the package. we got paid to wander off and do all that. heavy package with evocation inside.
some wizards were doing a cleaning spell but then it went MAJORLY WRONG! and there was a real weird magic surge. a monkey stole the package! but the magic stayed on the fritz so cyrus got big and blue and orri also turned into a monkey and it was sheer chaos but we survived. and the monkey's owner came for george (not orri) and apologized and gave us an eyeball as an apology. is that normal here?????
then we walked through town still following directions and a bunch of people were dancing. i joined in until someone broke a drum and then everyone collapsed? because they were enchanted to dance for like EVER and they got tired. they thanked us. a kid almost threw a potion of animal friendship (???) at us but azrael caught it and we saved it for later. chekhovs gun-style. then we passed a street where animated armors and displacer beasts attacked! we were okay though orri ate cobblestone and wilson struggled a whole bunch against em. they turned into ink when they died so i didnt get any cool pelts but we stay strong.
finally got to gramma benedryl's place and gave her the unopened package. it turned into a spread of breakfast foods! we enjoyed it with her until the worst of the festival chaos died down and then we went home. :)

I hate Festivals. Always have, always will. This day just cemented that further... It was a multitude of magical catastrophic events that was caused by some idiotic children that can't cast spells properly. I think that I would rather jump headfirst into an inferno then do that again. The worst part though? We had to do all that and deliver someone's breakfast. At that point, I just walked back alone. I'm going to bed now, and I am going to pretend today never happened.
At least I got this armor out of it...

Party: Azure Eyes (Cyrus), Rokka & Wilson, Sunbeam (Orri), Azrael, & Myself
Our latest assignment brought us to Silverymoon, where we met a drow waiting inside the Unicorn's Horn.
His request seemed simple enough. He asked us to deliver a package to his grandmother, a human woman living outside the city. Ordinarily he would have done so himself, but a local festival had left him occupied with his duties as a city guard.
Simple assignments have a curious habit of refusing to remain simple.
As we passed through the festival grounds, several spellcasters were demonstrating what appeared to be a communal cleaning spell. Unfortunately, something went catastrophically wrong. Wild magic erupted across the square, and every few moments reality seemed determined to invent a new inconvenience.
A monkey seized the opportunity to steal our package amidst the confusion.
Recovering it proved more difficult than expected.
Sunbeam was transformed into a monkey for a time. Others suffered comparatively minor magical mishaps. Azure Eyes, however, bore the brunt of the surge. His skin turned an unmistakable shade of blue, bubbles escaped his mouth whenever he attempted to speak, and he abruptly grew much larger than before.
The entire affair reminded me rather strongly of the sorts of pranks the fey delight in inflicting upon one another.
That thought inspired me.
I may have cast Enlarge upon Azure Eyes, making him larger still.
I regret nothing.
Eventually, we subdued the monkey and recovered our package before continuing toward our destination.
The directions led us to a forest clearing where a number of people danced in perfect rhythm around a small stage. They appeared utterly entranced by the performance. Our kobold companion immediately joined them. Whether they too had fallen under the enchantment or simply wished to participate, I cannot say.
Either way, it was rather adorable.
The enchantment ended abruptly when the drum driving the performance was destroyed. As its rhythm ceased, so too did the magic holding the dancers captive. Many collapsed from exhaustion before tearfully thanking us, while others quietly gathered themselves and hurried home.
It was certainly one of the stranger festivals I have attended.
After considerably more walking than I had anticipated, we finally reached the home of the drow's grandmother.
Having successfully delivered the package without opening it, we discovered its contents were simply food.
I confess I had expected something more mysterious.
The kindly woman invited us inside to wait until the festival had concluded before beginning our journey back to the Syndicate. We accepted her hospitality without hesitation.
It was, all things considered, a pleasantly uneventful ending to a decidedly peculiar day.
