Dawn Mother ( Chanutea in Gella's area of the world) teaches us that life brings the dawn after a season of reaping and decay.

Gella grew up in a bucolic halfling farming community with a stable loving family far away from strange lands. The Church of Chanutea Dawn Mother was always there for her community to grow and share the bountiful harvest with all. Another part of the mission was to take in orphans and wretches from ravaged and broken towns and cities, to raise them in a calm environment, nurture them back to health and teach them hard work and skills. Gella caroused and schooled with orphans but would watch them heal, learn and then grow up and move away to adventure. She longed to follow them into the wild world beyond. She hopes one day to find some of the long lost childhood friends. She served Chauntea with a passion, but often thought the church not ambitious enough. The church elders heard of the fall of the Ashwall and Gella thought it the perfect opportunity to try an adventure herself. If she can procure land and relics for the church perhaps Chauntea/ Dawn Mother's gifts will spread even further.
