We went into the woods expecting nothing more than another dangerous encounter. Instead, we found creatures that looked like living puppets. They moved unnaturally and carried strange needles. I was struck, and we discovered the needles could swap souls between bodies. We managed to reverse the effect, but the experience left us shaken. Now, we cannot stop wondering how many of these puppets are hiding among the trees—or who might have created them. Whatever is happening in those woods, we may be the first to uncover it.
