These days it is very hard to even trust to your own senses. Oh god, am I getting too old or do these lands have every weird encounter that one can imagine.

I was at the night watch, minding my own business and reading a newly bought book when my familiar "Hammer" noticed a figure walking in the forest. I moved closer to it, to better understand it. There it was, wrapped in what looked like layers of clothes on top of other clothes. Black as the ink in my bag and where its face should have been was smooth as papers I waxed recently without any eyes, nose or mouth. It had the build of a large humanoid creature but not the mannerism.

It was going from south to north, west of the spider cave and north-north east of the Last Lantern.
