The shoreline changes dramatically as the red cliffs of the sheer cliff shore turn to black and purple stone. The color of the rock suggests ancient volcanic activity somewhere to the northeast beyond the cliffs. No expedition has yet followed the coast far enough to discover if there is an active volcano there. Beware of kobolds, harpies, and other mountain creatures.
