Mortimer Lum, a dwarf cleric.  Morty is charismatic, a family man with a huge extended family, who seems to know someone everywhere.  He belongs to a religious sect that encourages such families and tends to shun outsiders, but not Morty, he loves everyone, loves good food, good stories, good people.  Morty is a businessman, out on the road, away from his nagging wife and his spoiled children, just trying to make a buck, while doing a bit of healing, this and that, have a good time.  He is religious because his family is, but not for any other reason.  He would join up with a group as a matter of convenience and try to befriend even the grouchiest curmudgeon.
