RANKS OF DIVINE POWER
For game purposes, each deity has a divine rank, which is similar to a character’s level. A deity’s divine rank determines how much power the entity has and serves as a way to compare one deity to another. Here is a quick summary of divine ranks.

| RANK 1 | 50+ Piety, 50+ Renown, Level 18+ | Creatures of this rank are sometimes called quasi-deities or hero deities. |
| RANK 2 | 52+ Piety, 52+ Renown, Level 24+ | These entities, called demigods, are the weakest of the deities. |
| RANK 3 | 57+ Piety, 57+ Renown, Level 28+ | Called lesser deities, these entities grant spells and can perform more powerful deeds. |
| RANK 4 | 62+ Piety, 62+ Renown, Level 32+ | These entities are called intermediate deities. |
| RANK 5 | 67+ Piety, 67+ renown, Level 36+ | Called greater deities, these entities may have millions of mortal worshippers. |
| RANK 6 | 72+ Piety, 72+ Renown, Level 40+ | These entities are beyond the ken of mortals and care nothing for worshippers. |
