This is my first quest using Avrae and on the server so sorry in advance! I have made every effort to ensure things run as smoothly as possible but I'm sure at least one thing will go wrong.

Overview

Magical disturbances and unsettling dreams have begun to plague the southern reaches of Verdalis, all traced to a single source: a massive, ancient ziggurat buried deep within the region’s dense forests. Further investigation has revealed the surrounding area to be heavily infested with a Yuan-ti cult, who appear to be zealously guarding the temple and whatever dark presence lies within.

An outright assault was quickly ruled out. Such an approach would devastate the surrounding wilderness, causing irreparable harm to Verdalis itself. Instead, a more precise solution has been selected, you.

Your small strike team will be deployed directly onto the summit of the ziggurat. Your task is to hold your ground against relentless waves of Yuan-ti, holding long enough to cripple their operation at its source.

Succeed, and the cult will suffer a decisive blow from which they are unlikely to recover. Fail, and whatever stirs beneath the temple may soon be unleashed upon the world unchecked.

DM Table Rules

• Replenish - for every enemy you slay, you will gain Heroic Inspiration. You can still only hold a single Heroic Inspiration at any time, so use it fast and earn another faster.
• Reposition - At the beginning of a round, every enemy on the field will be allowed to move as if taking the dash action, should they desire.
• Attention - During combat, your character will dodge and skip your turn if I don't see activity within 5 minutes. If this happens for 3 rounds, you will be removed from the quest
• Chug - Potions are BA for yourself, and an Action to give to someone else. Taking a potion from a willing ally within 5ft is a free action.
• Emergencies - if something comes up, just let me know. If you leave without communication for more than 15 mins you will be removed from the quest.
• Flanking - creatures gain +2 to attack as long as there is another ally within 5ft of the enemy, and a +5 to hit if there is more than one. This applies to enemies too.
• Friendship - no PvP unless discussed and consented to by all parties (including me).
