This is a Transformation Quest.

Overview:

A strange celestial tablet was unearthed after a Boneclaw erupted from the earth in the Emerster Wilds. The tablet’s surface is carved with radiant script—warning of “the wingless one” and “the Gale That Waits Below.”

Deciphered fragments speak of an ancient primordial shrine sealed centuries ago… and now awakening.

Recently, the Emerster Wilds has shifted with sudden storms that form without wind, lightning that strikes upward, and creatures behaving as if something is pulling at their souls. A drakewarden (Petbalar) has reported hearing whispers on the wind calling for “one of storm-blood” to return what was once stolen.

Now the old shrine stirs—cracks in the earth revealing tunnels of smooth stone, air that thrums like a heartbeat, and an unseen pressure building from below. The Verdant Accord fears a planar breach, the Crucible fears a magical meltdown, and the locals fear they’re about to lose their homes to a storm that won’t stop.

Adventurers are needed to descend into the storm-scarred tunnels, uncover the truth behind the primordial disturbance, and prevent the Elemental Plane of Air from swallowing the region whole.
