Razkan was once a farmer who grew squash in the sandy soil northeast of Isfahan. Ghouls then destroyed his home and killed his neighbors. Driven by a need for justice, he felt the presence of Ātreshan, the Heavenly Flame, in the embers of his home. The god gave him a duty: become a shield for civilization and a fire against darkness. Razkan answered the call.

The war in The Belt has sent refugees and their stories of the Barcain Empire's atrocities across Sarzalom and to Razkan's earholes. Through meditation and prayer he has seen that his duty for now lies in aiding Tirva and fighting against the brutal Zilleesi. Unfortunately, the large amount of lizardfolk soldiers fighting for Zillikar prevent Razkan from fighting on the front lines due to the fear of friendly fire but he has reached out to Sarzak authorities to find a way to help.
