Fenolin spent over eighty years running a small root-vegetable patch on the edge of a booming city. She provided free herbs to the local sick, predicted the weather for ungrateful neighbors, and minded her own business.

Then, the local Baron used eminent domain to seize her farmland. They paved over her century-old soil to build a cobblestone toll road for wealthy merchants, leaving her with a measly handful of silver coins and an eviction notice.
