As Floki's power was becoming apparent in his childhood, his father instilled in him the wonders of ancient ruins. Their rich history, difficult to reach locations, and immense wealth of treasure and power made them irresistible to the blossoming Sorcerer. On his 18th Birthday he set sail with a crew to Jaia, to explore where no humans have explored before. To touch the lands still raked bare by the catastrophe of the War of Three Dooms. However, as they approached the Gods decided this was not to be so. The storms destroyed the ships and sent his crew to the depths of the ocean. He washed up on what he would later come to know as The Fettering Peninsula.
