Ynes is a farm boy from around the area of Kostroma. He is plain, and has some makeshift weaponry including a scythe he insists is a Glaive, and some crappy chain he managed to pick up on the way to the Greenmarshes where he seeks his purpose through grueling combat and discipline. After the war with Dragon's petered out, and not finding anything to fulfill him up north, Ynes returns to the area of South Magneland in search of adventure, purpose, and glory. He finds himself in Tarnoval, serving the Black Baron. Is this the path he's chosen for the rest of his mortal life? Perhaps. Will there be more after? Here it almost seems likely...
