It was only natural that Tora, who had always had a gift for magic, found herself an apprentice to one of the sages in the Great Library of Illus on Vispelion. However, she proved to be a lousy student, incapable of paying attention to her elders. One day, she accidentally knocked over a candle that was sitting next to an important tome belonging to her teacher, burning it to ashes. She was promptly expelled from the library and asked never to return. With barely any gold to her name, she now has to find a new way to earn a living.
