Antiquary’s most devious and avaricious dungeon custodian, Ignoble the Loot Goblin finally allows entry to their dungeon, the Haul of Halls, a place of glittering horded wealth and artifacts. This portion of the Haul is dedicated to the goblin’s favored God, Plutious the Magnate. Here, Ignoble pits Runner against Runner, isolating them and tempting them with wealth as they fight alone and segregated over gold and territory.

Special. This Player vs Environment vs Player Gauntlet is equal parts Boardgame as it is a solo dungeon. Deals and alliances you make both in-game and outside of the Gauntlet will have huge impact, but ultimately you will likely face each encounter on your own. As you make your way around the Board, you will have opportunities to take over and wrest control of spaces, forcing other players to tithe to you if they land on them. Generally, this game is not balanced and favors characters that are already wealthy and can sustain themselves in a solo fight. The Board will persist for a period of time before it is wiped and reset, allowing players to come back and attempt to gain more territory for themselves, their ludus, or other player-led alliances. You will likely never battle each other face-to-face, but that doesn’t lessen the adversarial nature of this game type.

Playtest. I need at least one session to tinker this game type. Your character will not be at risk of dying and you will receive a small xp reward for your time that can be applied to an existing Player Character of your choice.
