Daggerheart
Rody is a striking figure, despite his advanced age. His head is completely bald, save for a few wisps of white hair clinging to his temples. Tiny, round spectacles perch on the bridge of his nose, magnifying his bright, curious blue eyes. A long, flowing white beard cascades down his chest. He is often seen clad in robes of deep indigo, embroidered with gold filigree depicting planets and trees.
Rody's myst distinctive feature is his method of transport: a levitating, bright green orb of meteorite, approximately the size of a large beach ball, which pulses with a soft, inner light. This orb is not merely a means of locomotion; it is a source of his youthfulness. As long as he maintains physical contact with the orb, his age is visibly lessened, his movements becoming fluid and effortless. The moment he separates, his frailty becomes apparent.
After retiring from the CoEA, Rody spent most of his time volunteering at a local orphanage that his wife worked at. Horizon House. He was often showing picture books related to the skies above or nature. He made a promise to a young girl, Jubilee, that he would bring her the stars.
A once esteemed Lead Astronomer of Sunsreach's Council of Environmental Affairs, Rody dedicated his life to the study of the stars. His contributions to Sunsreach were invaluable. However, as he aged, his physical limitations hampered his research. With his newfound mobility, Rody decided he had spent enough time staring at the stars. He was ready to reach for them.
