🌿 Rowan Oatfall, Druid formerly of the Wistroot Verge
An earnest klutz with a dash of fae finesse, Rowan is just clumsy enough to be charming, and just magical enough to surprise everyone.
He fervently strives for grace but often stumbles into charm by accident. Charged with looking after the moss-choked lowlands of the Wistroot Verge, this druid of mixed Firbolg and Faerie blood was a walking contradiction in boots two sizes too big.
Born to the Oatfall line, a Firbolg family renowned for their oat farming and their uncanny ability to misplace sacred relics in grain silos, Rowan was always a bit... different. His Faerie heritage gifted him wings, though they flutter more like startled moths than graceful sprites. His spells bloom with beauty, but occasionally sprout turnips instead of thorns.
Rowan’s earnestness is legendary, but due to his notable trifecta of pratfalls, predicaments and plops, his fellow druids call him “the Warden of Whoops,” though never to his face.
Yet beneath the clumsy charm lies a heart as deep as the rootbound glens he protects. Rowan listens to the soil, sings to the wind, and weeps for every broken branch. He’s the kind of druid who trips over his own staff but still manages to heal the wounded with a smile and a handful of moss.
