One of the first vocaloids initially developed by SyrenX, Mercury's code was imported and integrated into a permanent robotic body following the purchase of SyrenX by Integral Dynamic Technologies in order to serve as one of the first members of The Mineraloids.

Pearl is generally quite reserved and conducts herself in a dignified manner that sets her apart from the rest of The Mineraloids. As a result of her more mature nature, Pearl was designated as the leader of The Mineraloids after the addition of Jet and Amber established the group as an official hero team in the eyes of IDT.

Pearl is by far the most balanced of all the mineraloids in regards to her hero and popstar work, leading to her code being used as the basis for most of the future members of this legacy group.
