Superduperboy is the "black sheep" of Superduperman's (essentially a Superman-analogue) 7 (living) children and the only one born from a different mother, whose identity is unknown but as evidenced by how he's the only one who isn't white.

Unlike the rest of his family, who take the "responsibility of their legacy" with the seriousness of boy scouts or holy warriors, Superduperboy's personal motto is "live to live!" and have fun.

He's much more likely to be mentioned in the gossip on Superstar for his epic parties, ridiculous antics, and which other teen superhero (or teen supervillain) he's dating; than he is to be praised on HeroTV for his heroic deeds. However, his reputation isn't as a "rebel" or a "bad boy" so much as it is...a charismatic and talented but unserious person, the type of kid who teachers describe as "he has a lot of potential if he'd only apply himself!"

...but now that he's a Junior, he's getting to the age where people start expecting "potential" to start manifesting into results

Like every child of the Superduper legacy, Superduperboy had attended Phoenix Academy...but was recently "compelled to change schools" for reasons which have been undisclosed (covered up by the parents and the school to save them both from embarassment), but which most suspect involve the overnight destruction of the Phoenix statue in front of the school.

So now he's been forced to transfer over to Eclipse Academy in the middle of the school year.

He attended both Phoenix and Eclipse Academy in his superhero identity at all times, to protect his and his family's secret identity...but it wasn't particularly restrictive for socializing since his costume has no mask or shirt it's just a cape and jeans.

He's known to have all the powers of his father: superstrength, invincibility, eye beams, flight, and supersenses...but he seems to only be able to use them one at a time (if that's ok instead of "picking 2 you don't have)
