Far beyond this system, dwelling amidst the vast and endless cosmos that hangs overhead, sits the idyllic planet of Sindarin. The people which inhabit this planet, the Sindarians, have forever stood as paragons of neutrality within the galaxy, sworn forever to peace. Sindarin is, after all, a place without war. Without confusion. All thanks to the telepathy each of them possess.
Standing as the paragons of their people, the royal family, blessed by the stars, reigns with a gentle hand atop Sindarin's moon, Quenya. They, almost entirely alone, command the power of sunlight, and shine like luminous eidolons, devoting themselves to being examples for their subjects to follow. Apart from the royal family, only about one in every million is born with this power.
Caranthir is among these precious few. Such rarities typically enjoy a life attending the vast library's of Sindarin and lend their gift towards the power of cities. That, however, is not the life Caranthir wanted.
Long had the people of Sindarin observed the galaxies beyond, bringing those distant thoughts to the surface of their own planet. They would learn from them, feel for them, but they would never reach out to them, as was the burden of neutrality. Among these planets was earth. Stories of that blue sphere's great heroes filled the minds of Sindarin, and inspired young Caranthir of a destiny beyond his home. He would be like them. He would be a hero!
At night, he stole Felarof, one of the sentient ships native to Sindarin, and the one that had been with his family for generations. He departed from his home, and journeyed across the stars, towards his destination of earth. When he arrived, he was taken in and given shelter by Eclipse academy, within which he beams with brilliant joy as bright as the solar energy he commands. Ever positive, energetic, and excited to learn.
