A message has been posted to the quest board in the Inn:

Couldn't bother with a fancy title. The bandits of Luma have been bothering the city for quite some time. I'd like a small group of adventurers to help me investigate the issue. By investigate, of course, I mean deal with it in whatever way we deem is necessary. Not too much is known about them so far. You will find a detailed description of what is known bellow as well as a time and day."

The following info is listed:

• Bringing climbing gear is of great importance as we will be traversing the mountains near "True Blue Cliffs". They were last spotted in a cave where their trail was lost. All attempts at detecting magic lead nowhere, though I suspect they must be using magic themselves or have some way of going into their hideout. An arcane eye often scans the road and leads into the cave where we lost their trail. Therefore, I will make sure Detect Magic is up as frequently as possible. Trying to scry the members of the bandits that have already be seen yields no result as it is believed they have some means of preventing us from detecting them. It is also known that at least one amulet of proof against detection has been stolen by them.
• I have two plans. We can either sit in the cave and wait for them to come to us, which at the very least forces an encounter and gives us a chance to speak with them and negotiate/communicate or we can stay invisible and undetectable to the arcane eye or find other ways in which we can perceive the cave without them knowing. Last time we followed one of their members he disappeared swiftly when we didn't have our eyes on him in that cave. Learning how will be useful. Please make sure to choose what plan you want to execute or come up with a better one if you think you can before joining. I'd appreciate it.
