A Guild-affiliated adventurer and his party, Oswald Hartstride (Oswald), Aubergine Helio (Auber) , and Cowell Milles (Cowell), were dispatched to investigate reports of unusual activity within the forest West of Chaska Village.
The investigation team has now been missing for three days.
Prior to losing contact, quest giver, Oorl, received three Sendings at three different days directly from Oswald:
1st Sending, 5 Thamuz 1213 [22.00]
"We found signs of organized activity deeper within the forest. Magical fluctuations are growing stronger around us. Aubergine and Cowell are well. We continue investigating."
2nd Sending, 6 Thamuz 1213, [20.00]
"We found them. Highly organized, likely elites. Their patrols show no weaknesses or openings. They have not noticed us yet. We will investigate further."
3rd Sending, 7 Thamuz 1213, [18.00]
"WE HAVE BEEN COMPROMISED. Forced to engage. Aubergine and Cowell bought me time. I'm running! Requesting immediate Guild reinforcements. Upgrade mission to C-Rank. Hurry!!"
No further communication has been received.
The Guild is requesting an immediate response team to search, rescue, and secure information.
"Three days. Three days since their last word reached us. Oswald, Aubergine, and Cowell are not inexperienced adventurers. If something out there was enough to silence all three of them, then every hour we wait is another hour we may never get back. I don't care what you find in that forest. Bring them home. Alive, if the gods are still willing."
