Sadu stands on the taller end for an average Rokugani woman, she sports a lean & wiry build marked with plenty of small scars gained over the years during her training and later travels. The left side of her back, left shoulder and upper arm have a extensive tattoo set over it, an array of branches with various flowers set on it, each flower representing someone who means or meant a lot to Sadu herself.

Her shoulder length black hair with a few streaks of red in it, is often pulled up into a messy knot, held in place by a pair of simple pins on which a pair of red tassels hang.

To avoid to many problems due to the coloration of her eyes Sadu often wears a simple amigasa to shield her eyes largely from easy view. Despite her strange eye colours, Sadu often carries a calm and friendly expression.
