Yasuki Isamu is a young courtier hailing from the illustrious Clear Water Village within the Yasuki's lands. He wears a beautiful kimono bearing the mon of the Yasuki Carp and of the Crab Clan, and can quickly be recognized by the gaudy silk coin purse he wears at his hip, made of rich navy blue silk and embroidered with golden thread in the image of a carp. On his other hip lay his other weapon, a wakizashi that is practically always peace tied, sheathed in a beautiful lacquered saya painted with the depiction of a school of golden carps. The sageho, which are always carefully wrapped around the hilt to prevent the drawing of the blade, are made of a beautiful black and golden weave.
He is affable, friendly and gregarious, always eager to welcome guests and entertain them with pleasant conversation. Despite his short time as a samurai, having only passed his gempukku a few years ago, he has managed to serve his lord faithfully and has thus travelled all over the Empire, particularly on the River of Gold. He remains unmarried, but should the right prospect be presented to his nakado, it won't be long before his wedding.
As a proud student of the Yasuki Merchant school, he is quite resourceful, and can certainly aid any samurai in acquiring whatever goods and services they might require in order to perform their duties (or for their personal enjoyment)... For a small fee, of course.
