During a meeting with their intended, Akodo Shiori, and the Matchmaker who is checking for their eligibility, Tonbo Yasu, a few dedicated helpers discovered that Matsu Chizuko is haunted by a past ancestor. They don't know much more than that. They would like to know. Would you like to help?

This scene is part of the overarching Matchmaker storyline begun in The Nakōdo's Assistant and continued in Strike a Match. Matsu Chizuko is a member of the Berserker School, fresh out of their gempuku and doing their best to be an honourable warrior. They have some concerns about their ancestor, and are looking for ways to lay them to rest.

OOC: Primarily, this will be a narrative scene which will give players a floating sense of time in terms of looking up things through various means, potentially travel, etc. It is likely that several questions will be left unanswered and that Jobs and future Scenes will build upon what will happen in this scene. Initiative will be established to have a posting order, and ideally we'll have roughly one IC post per ten minutes or so, but it is unlikely that an actual conflict scene will break out.

Rewards: 2-3 XP, 1 Favour, 2 Koku.
There will probably be potential for Glory and Honour gains and losses.
