Backstory: William grew up in a small village on the edge of the Blighted Lands. His father died during an expedition into the Blighted Lands while fighting in the reconquista. Raised on stories of his father and the other villagers who left to join the reconquista, William felt a growing pull toward the crusade against the undead. When he came of age, he joined the Order of the Brotherhood of Celestia, swearing an oath to Adon to protect others by destroying the undead.
