Wira Raya is the Grandson of Pak Lang, a humble rice farmer who moved over to Dawnport to establish a foundation for his descendants on the unknown new land. Their family had little wealth, but they carried something more valuable: stories and culture.

As a child, Wira listened most closely to the stories told by his grandfather. The old man claimed their bloodline once served an ancient spirit known only as Sang Penjaga Sawah, the Guardian of the Fields. A being neither fully divine nor fiendish, but something older. A whimsical spirit born from muddy earth, monsoon rain, and the blood spilled defending harvests from raiders and beasts.

Wira thought they were only stories, but Pak Lang assured him that this guardian had been passed toward his father, and soon, to him. However, it didn't take long for the spirit to inhabit him while Wira was only 17 years old. A sign of his father's passing during a devastating attack on the village that took their life, the chief guard.

Being the oldest son of the family, though still immature and prone to playing and lazing, he faced reality and knew he needed to grow up so he could support his now-alone mother and his other 3 siblings.

What story will he end with? For now, he is just another "Traveler' among the list of people coming over to Dawnport looking for opportunities. Can he find the path to provide for his family and replace the large hole left by his father?
