A harrowing darkness has fallen over the homesteads of the Ashen Frontier. Over the past fortnight, parents have awoken to a living nightmare—empty beds and missing children. There are no signs of forced entry, no shattered glass, and no footprints in the mud.
The only clue left behind is a chilling one. Carefully tucked beneath the bedcovers of every taken child is a piece of toffee and a hand-crafted doll, stitched with disturbing precision to resemble the exact likeness of the youth it replaced.
The local guard is paralyzed by superstition, and the trail is growing cold. The magistrate is offering a substantial bounty of gold and the eternal gratitude of the Frontier to any party brave enough to hunt down whoever—or whatever—is stealing our future, and save the children.
Report to the Guildmaster immediately to formalize your commission. We need you before the next moonset.
