📍 Where we went:

• An underground prison complex near Dawnport, where the party woke up in separate cells after being ambushed on the road.
• A hidden passage behind the last cell, leading to a toilet/washroom area used by the jailers.
• Adjacent dining hall and kitchen areas connected to the toilet, where a giant lizard chef and sleeping lizardfolk were encountered.

👥 Who we met:

• Bonk, Izaya, Eden, Jerrod, and Marx (fellow adventurers captured in the same raid).
• Aldren Pike, a tortured prisoner from the previous jailbreak who provided critical intelligence.
• Lizardfolk guards and a skeletal undead clerk with a clipboard, managing the prison.
• Loseff Asteam (mentioned): The wizard who orchestrated the second jailbreak and escaped.
• A wraith patrolling the prison corridors.

⚔️ What happened:

Dorn awoke in a prison cell alongside Bonk, observing two lizardfolk guards and a skeletal undead taking notes on prisoners. Using prestidigitation to snuff out a nearby fire, Dorn drew attention and was stabbed with a spear, forcing him to feign injury while planning an escape. He bent the metal bars using a wet blanket tied between them, while other adventurers began fighting the lizardfolk guards. The party discovered Aldren Pike in a cell, brutally tortured with only his middle finger remaining, and stabilized him before moving him to safety.

Aldren revealed he was captured during the second jailbreak orchestrated by wizard Loseff Asteam, who escaped while others were recaptured. He relayed Loseff's warning: "The enemies are building an army. Dawnport needs to respond in kind. They have to prepare for the upcoming war." Following this intelligence, the group found an opening in the last cell leading to a toilet area, where they ambushed and killed a lone lizardfolk guard. A wraith patrolled the corridors, but the party remained hidden in the toilet.

From the toilet, the party identified two exits: one to a dining hall with a sleeping lizardfolk and a giant lizard wearing a chef's hat, and another to an empty kitchen. Using Dorn's minor illusion to create droplet sounds, the group lured the giant lizard into an ambush and defeated it. The session ended with the party controlling the toilet and kitchen area, preparing to push further into the facility.

What actually happened?

• All of the party members were jumped one way or another and knocked out, stripped and jailed.
• They all came to in a prison being guarded by undead and lizardfolk.
• They broke out and took out some guards without raising the alarm. Searching through the cells they find Aldren, another prisoner who had run into Loseff.
• Loseff was apparently captured as well and led the previous jailbreak. He left clues like a prison map, who to avoid and notes about the guards.
• They snuck through a sewer pipe and took down a few guards with shitty ambush tactics.
