(What happened)

Was eating. Then the cook exclaimed that rats had eaten through the inn's stocks. Gold offered for extermination. Mercernaries lined up almost immediately. Looks like jobs are scarce around here, too. Just my luck. ​​​

Dragonborns, silver and green, inspected the foodstore. A Goliath, clad in steel, joined them. Green horns, the whole lot. Fell through rotten baseboards into cavern beneath during examination. A lupin joined the fall, although that seemed more voluntary than accident. Graceless lot.

Barm brought ladder. The rest of the mercenaries, including two Aarakocra posers, climbed down. ​Cavern smells of vermin. Echoed with their calls too.

Alas, the vermins themselves are nowhere in sight. We met four tortles having cheesy flatbread for meal (No pineapples? Ugh) . They bristled at the interruption. The Graceless lot struck first. Greenhorn blood, I guess. They managed to strike one down before I could act. Beginner's luck, I suppose.

Then a Ratfolk appeared. He offered a block of smelly cheese (ew!) as peace offering.

Suddenly, the vermin swarmed the place. Smell of cheese stronger than their droppings, methinks.

After extermination complete, Tortles and Ratfolk fled. I promised I'd spar with them anytime. We returned to the inn to claim our bounty. ​​

8. The big mouse give a smelly cheese to Mr Ganja man, that smelly cheese lure all the mice
9. we exterminate the mice,
10. the big mouse give us Tuna Pizza
11. we walk back to the kitchen and report to Mr Barn

Wut happened

• So, mi was deh yah try introduce mi bredren dem to mi brand-new product, yuh know? Fresh merchandise straight from Mr. GanjaMan himself. Good herb, good vibes, everyting irie.
• Den outta nowhere, Barm di cook start bawl out loud-loud. Man sound like somebody set fire to him backside. So naturally, mi haffi go check pon di bredda and ask, “Barm, wah gwaan, my brother? Why yuh a mash up di whole vibe?”
• Di man tell mi him have one SERIOUS rodent problem. So mi, Nyxara, and Clothilde head inside fi investigate di situation.
• Jah know… di place nasty. Shit everywhere. Scratch marks everywhere. Bite marks everywhere. Look like every rat inna di kingdom hold one big rassclaat festival down deh.
• Den suddenly—BOOM! Di blasted floor break underneath we! Mi woulda run, but mi was WAY too high fi react in time, so down mi go.
• And if dat wasn't bad enough, dis accursed wolf drop straight pon top of mi! Mash mi up proper. Mi body hurting, mi bones complaining, so naturally mi only have one solution: more ganja. Medicinal purposes, my brother. Purely medicinal.
• Eventually all of us end up down inna di tavern basement, and what we see? FOUR stupid-ass, bum-ass, bitch-ass, pussy-ass TURTLES standing down deh like dem own di place, ready fi attack we.
• At first mi think, “Nahhh, dem turtles nah really fight we.” But YEP. Dem absolutely did. Apparently dem believe we finna steal dem pizza.
• …What di FUCK is a pizza?
• Anyway, long story short, we beat two of dem backside proper. Den suddenly one particular rat show up—and YES, mi mean one humanoid rat. Big rat standing pon two legs, talking like regular people. At dis point mi too high fi even question reality anymore.
• Di rat come over and ask what di problem is. So mi walk up to him and explain everything we dealing with.
• Den di bredda hand mi CHEESE. Mi thinking, “Wah mi supposed fi do wid dis? Eat it?” But apparently di cheese show us where di real problem is: FIVE whole groups of rats.
• Five groups?! Jah preserve me.
• But no worries. With di sacred power of ganja, friendship, violence, and questionable decision-making, we manage fi wipe dem all out.
• Afterward, Rat Bredda thank us because we never kill him turtle bredren. Respect fi dat. And apparently, as reward, we get di mysterious thing dem call… pizza.
• Still don't know what di FUCK a pizza is.
• Finally, we climb back upstairs, collect we coins, AND Barm give us one whole WEEK staying at di tavern for free.
• So overall? Got paid, got free lodging, fought rats, fought turtles, met one talking rat, discovered something called pizza, nearly got flattened by one blasted wolf, and smoked enough ganja to communicate wid nature itself.

Good adventure. 10/10. Would get high and fall through di floor again.
