All of the livestock kept by Abscura’s people is dual-purpose, meant to provide as much as possible while using as little space and as few resources as possible. Much like the other native creatures, most have also adapted to their strange environment. Blowvine, Highspire’s solution to cows, have fur thick enough to slow their fall, and sheepuffs have wool that can be puffed out at will should they be threatened. Only chickens appear relatively normal, with wings that allow them to cross short gaps and avoid falling from islands.
