Birds of all sorts soar through Abscura’s skies. Those seen between islands are often akin to the albatross, built to soar for hours at a time, while smaller and more active species inhabit various islands. Under the cover of darkness, bats catch insects and forage for fresh fruit, though few species brave the open air between islands. Both are incredibly common, able to feed on a variety of other species and roost in areas inaccessible to other species.
