Gary mended our extensive wounds.

Edwina found 3 fungi in a cupboard.  There were four Rainbolica Color Cap which is a tye die colored mushroom that can turn a creature a different random color.  There were 2 Chickenzie that have stalks that look white feather, and if you eat too much you get poisoned and act like a chicken.  She found only one Frazzilica that has the appearance of a Orange Fuzzy Caterpillar when consumed in proper dosage you can speak with plants for 8 hours.

The barracks were empty.  It was connected to an armory.  Inside we found a wand of gilding.  Edwina took possession of it and gave Gary her Pearl of Power.

Blue segmented fruit called a mind apple.  When you consume the whole apple you can communicate telepathically, BUT have the potential to create whispers that make you go mad.  Gary REALLY wanted to eat it, but Gniles told him that he was lactose intolerant, the apple was made of cheese, and no one should fart as much as he does.  I think Gniles was being clever by talking Gary out of it, but I suppose it possible that Gniles already ate one of the mind apples when we weren't looking.

We went upstairs and found a pond with vines growing around it.  Gary ate the Frazzilica to attempt to talk to the vines.  "Protect.  Purpose.  Only."  Gniles asked what they were protecting and the vines shuddered and replied, "Pond."  We decided we wanted to know what was underneath.  It sensed our aggression and attacked.  We destroyed it and found a hidden staircase when the pond receded.

There was a vault to the south with a lock I couldn't open, but Thordak kicked the door down.  Edwina found an ebony and gold hourglass full of smoke, and what appeared to be bandaged manikin hands.  Most of us felt ill after we left.  Cold.  Edwina seemed fine though.

We went down the stairwell that had been exposed when the pond receded.  We emerged into a huge cavern with a wheel of the black thread in the center.  There was a creature that looked like a bird that said we were ruining everything.  All the red caps turned their eyes in our direction.  I vortex warped everyone closer to the bird creature and ran like hell to catch up to the party.  I even abandoned C.L.U.C.K. to be kicked to death.  Even flaming feet and extended jumps can only get you so far.  I was eventually chased down.  I stood firm to protect Gary as he cut the thread.  I was kicked unconscious.  When I was brought back up by Gary all of the red caps were gone.  We had to run for our lives as the place collapsed around us.

A dragon that was the land erupted from the ground.
