Arrakis is born in Thuban, a religious city far away from Nusantara, well known for their Theology, Clergy, and development in Divine magic. While people of Thuban follows and worships other deities, Bahamut, the Platinum Dragon has the largest influence and order of knights, with its temple the biggest among others, and serve as the center of the town. Arrakis is the only son of the head priest of the Temple of Bahamut, where he is raised and trained in magic, something he has talent for, since his mother is an apt magic researcher, and theology.
However, he is... different from most other children. The priests in Thuba came with the term of Dragonblessed, a rare phenomena where childrens born with sparks of Bahamut's divinity and celestial power. While this phenomena is rare, it's not unheard of, as there some, although not many, of existing Dragonblessed in Thuban, with the priests hypothesize that many infants grows near Bahamut's sacred temple and divine magic. The fact that Arrakis is a Dragonblessed made him sheltered, as they give his kind more trainings, to hone their powers and temper their mind, in fear of their ability is used for the wrong reasons, and for Arrakis, they didn't let him to even leave the temple.
However, it didn't let Arrakis down, he tries to find the best in the situation, playing with other children and Dragonblessed and making friends. Not just that, he enjoys the challenge from the training and studying, made him competitive, and even challenges other kids to do better. As a result for his trainings, one day, something materialized in front of him, a silver draconic spirit, a physical form of his magic and personality, his childlike wonder. He named him Silver, and since then, Silver become a companion to Arrakis, a friend when he's alone, and a guide for his moral compass.
Years after, he received a vision, something that happens to all Dragonblessed, a message from Bahamut; often, a task, but rarely, their calling. For the better or worse, it's the latter. In the vision, he sees lots of location, from plains, to mountains, to beaches, and more, one after one. Soon, he sees people, of all races, in villages, settlements, and towns. And at the end of his vision, a banner. The guild's banner. After he told his parents about his vision, his father gathers the priests in the temple, to interpret the meanings of his Vision. After a whole week, they finally decided. Next day, Arrakis is summoned to the temple, where the head priests gave him a decree' to leave Thuba and start a journey to Nusantara, while helping the people he pass, and spread Bahamut's value.
With his mission accepted, he prepares his departure, said his goodbyes, and leave Thuba. On the way to Nusantara, he visits plenty of settlements, villages, and towns, and he helped people as best as he can, and he finally enters the kingdom. His latest act of good was capturing some bandits that's robbing someone in his route to the guild, and when he was on his way of delivering the bandits to the guard, he saw it. The banner in his vision. After asking someone about the guild and adventurers, he decided to enter the guild and register as adventurers. Since adventurers goes out to explore other places and towns, he can help more people, than just wander on his own. And so, he steps in the guild hall, eager to join as an adventurer.
