Gashes strewn across the plains,
Where rock did fall and earth did strain,
And crystals grew of potent might,
That warped and twisted a forest blight.

While on the coasts southern shore,
Remnants of ancient cities bore,
The hallmarks of catastrophe,
All surround this inlet sea.

For when the world goes back to sleep,
The dreams of yonder years remain,
Before the rocks did sunder in twain.
