Corvus Blackburn (18) dresses in dark, layered clothing: a long black cloak, multiple scarves, black-painted nails, and a skull pendant. The look leans somber more than threatening, and while he still keeps his hood up and favors high collars, it feels more like habit than an attempt to push people away. The only things that ever give him away as a changeling are his abnormally large canines and the way he sometimes lingers at the edges of a crowd, watching more than participating.

He is never seen without a black satchel etched with faint red runes, which occasionally rustles; inside is Paradot, his small black kitten, usually peering out with wide yellow eyes.

Around animals, any distance in him disappears. Before joining SINCAA, Corvus ran an informal wildlife rescue near his hometown, pulling animals from bushfires and nursing strays and orphaned creatures back to health. That work eventually drew the wrong kind of attention—people began to suspect him of dark magic and turned on him. Fearing for both himself and the animals, he released them into the deep woods and left.

He spent some time drifting before finding SINCAA, and while he still keeps parts of himself guarded, it’s becoming clear he’s not nearly as cold as he first appears.
