Chalcus has identified two possible witches responsible. One is reportedly hostile on sight, the other may be willing to speak. Either way, we have been advised that this kind of curse typically stems from someone wronging the witch after receiving aid.

It is also believed that an individual knowingly carried and spread the curse beyond its origin.

Corvus intends to track the source, identify which witch is responsible, and resolve the situation if possible. Killing them is not the preferred first option.
