Backstory so far. After arriving from Kinemar Voyce traveled for a while to get a lay of the new land, where he met a man named Mercy, fell in love with him and in the process met Dahlia ( Mercys Twin sister). Being a low magic setting and Mercy being a Druid who delighted in showing his kind natured abilities and assisting the people of their home town with their gardens, farms and Orchards. Eventually he was slain by a cutthroat in the middle of the night (we can discuss details on this later). Voyce tracked down the specific cutthroat and un-alived him, honestly not much trouble. It wasn't a huge town. Most people knew eachother and strangers stand out amoung the village. Regardless this didn't and wouldn't bring Mercy and his wonderful voice back, but being a tiefling there was connections to the Hells, it didn't take long to find a deal. All he wanted was his Husband back so he could hear the sound of his beautiful peaceful voice again. But you know how it is with dealing with Devils, a pact was made, the Devil gives a name and i take a life and perhaps Voyce would get back what he desired most. In the from of a Soul Sword of sorts, Mercy was returned to him. The specific devil ( something shadowfell in nature - perhaps attatched to the Raven queen) fled knowing he didn't keep up his end of the deal as he should have. Through any form Violence or bloodshed with this sword Voyce could hear Mercys sweet songs riding on the soundwaves of the various tinks, clinks, clangs and even when voyce could manage to build up enough force in a slash to cause a sword wind. But his proficency and strength held him back in that regard.
