Welcome to The Ledger: Field Reports

Every city has cases nobody wants to touch. The ones the police close without looking too hard. The ones the family stops asking about after a while. The ones everybody involved quietly agrees never happened.

That's where we come in.

This is a **SWADE (Savage Worlds Adventure Edition)** West Marches campaign built around paranormal investigation. There's no fixed party and no fixed schedule — you sign up for the cases that fit your calendar, bring whichever agent makes sense for the job, and help build a shared world one field report at a time.

Fair warning: turnover is high. Very high. If your agent makes it back to file their own report, that already puts them ahead of the last guy.

How it works

• Every session is a standalone job.** Take the case, close it (or don't), file your report, head back to the office. No obligation to return for a "part two" — though the world remembers what you did, even if you'd rather it didn't.
• Bring any agent that fits.** Build one or several; sign up for whatever case matches their skills, their nerve, and your availability.
• New to West Marches or SWADE? No problem. Check the pinned character creation guide before building your first agent, and every new character needs a quick GM sign-off before their first case.

2. Read the character creation guide and build your agent.

3. Watch for open cases in the Adventures tab, and sign up for one that fits.

4. Show up, do the job — however that goes. File your report either way.
