Hello, my name is Gabe. I enjoy playing and GMing DnD as well as Shadowdark.

My GMing style focuses around creating situations over storylines. I plan my combat to be deadly and use theater of the mind in simple combat scenarios or when accurate mapping isn't important. I also enjoy rewarding player skill outside of combat.

I live in Germany, so my availability will center around GMT+2 . To play please reference the wiki entry A Player-Driven Campaign. Party sizes should be 3-5 players and the session length 3 hours. If too many people drop out before the session I may decide to cancel it. Once a minimum number of players have joined an adventure, I'll claim it and we'll go delving. I will reward players with bonus XP who write or collaborate with their fellow players to write session reports or to post learned rumors after a session. More info in the same wiki entry.

I allow plenty of time for role play, planning and party discussion, but try to quicken the pace of combat. I use a couple of table rules to this end.

Table Rules:

• Monster Group Initiative. I run my monsters in groups. This may mean they all act simultaneously or they may be grouped by type.
• Player Indecision. 5e is a complicated game and making a decision can be difficult. Additionally some classes are more complicated than others. A player who needs more time to choose a course of action may have their position in initiative switched (for that round) with an ally who has yet to act. This can happen at the player's or the GM's discretion. If you are unsure of what to do, using your main attack against a low HP enemy is always a solid choice.

Please be cognizant of a few things when reserving a time slot.

• Timeslots are first come first serve.
• Timeslots should be booked at least a few days in advance (to give me time to prep).
• Multiple timeslots posted does not mean every time slot can be filled. They are just options. I am aiming for about 1 game/week so if someone booked on Saturday, it likely means Sunday is unavailable. I'll do my best to update available slots as we go.

I want to share here that I'll be taking some time after my session on the 23rd to focus on my university exams. The last exam will be on the 28th of July. Between then and the 21st of August I expect to have time to run again. Hopefully more than once a week, but we'll see:)
