As a child, Agnemaia (Aggie) Seren spend her childhood training as an apprentice druid at the grove that accepted her parents with open arms when they were expecting her. Aggie didn't connect with druidic magic the same way the rest of the grove did. She found her eyes of wonder in the stars.
One day, after her parents unexpected disappearance, the grove suddenly changed their stance on her being there. One day during training, her mentor and fellow mentees said that her next test was to fight it out with the wolves. Thinking that Aggie would fail, her grove finally felt like they would be rid of the final tiefling refugee in their grove. To everyone's surprise, Aggie was able to calm the wolves and keep them from tearing her to shreds. She spoke with them and even made friends with them. The wolves told her that the grove was trying to get rid of her as they had her parents. The wolves helped Aggie escape as she decided to turn her back on the only home she had ever known. She used the stars as her guide and she travelled around uninhabited forests and mountains of the settled lands, occasionally taking up a role of guiding priests and other travelers to their destinations.
As a thank you for her help, an old priest by the name of Father Oren Vale, gave her a crystal that had a foggy white look. When Aggie held it up to the sun, the could see faint marks of gold within the crystal. She could make out constellations that she was familiar with within it. Father Oren told her that he had been gifted that crystal a long time ago, and he was waiting for just the right person to pass it along to. After that, Aggie treasured the crystal and began adding the stars that she observed in her travels.
While Aggie is fascinated by the cosmos, that doesn't mean that she lost all care and respect for the rest of nature. On her journey's, she also makes it her goal to find abnormal flora and fauna so that she can study them. While she was taking a break to study a cluster of plants, one day, she sensed a change in the nature around her. When she lifted her head up to look, her eyes widened as she realized that the Ash Wall, the same wall that had been there her entire life, was collapsing.
It was at that moment that a world of endless possibility opened up for her. She grasped her Star Map, her pack, and she made her way towards what was beyond the Ash Wall with two goals in mind: Discover new and unique flora and fauna beyond the wall, and fill out her Star Map with what lies beyond
